Autumn Meeting Apply early for Walton Heath to avoid disappointment.
We are not over-reacting by saying that unless the prospective attendance at Walton Heath for the Autumn Meeting on 18th September falls short of present expectations there is a possibility that numbers may have to be restricted. You may therefore be best advised to complete the attached form sooner rather than later to guarantee your place (This again can also be obtained from tis website). Cheques may be post-dated to 3rd September.
We hope Members are managing to use this updated version to keep themselves up to date. We would like to think that we are not wasting time writing reports as well as giving results on Matches and Meetings in the ‘Events and Fixtures’ section. You will also note that once a Fixture has been played the confirmed date for 2009 is written in red. We would a welcome Members making any changes to addresses, telephone numbers or handicaps which are appropriate in the ‘My Profile’ section. IF THERE IS ANYONE WHO HAS NOT YET ENTERED THE MEMBERS PART OF THE SITE AND WOULD LIKE HELP TO DO SO (PERHAPS BECAUSE THEY HAVE FORGOTTEN THEIR PASSWORD) PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO EMAIL the Secretary. IT IS SUCH A SIMPLE METHOD.

The prices for the items are detailed on the Order Form which can be downloaded by clicking the W in the second paragraph of the clothing web page.
Members requests will be collated until the Secretary has collected a minimum batch order of eight separate items.
The next order will be placed on 30th May subject to demand.

Using the New Website How do I get in?
The New Website
You should enter the site by using your email address as your ‘Login’. By now you will have received your initial ‘Password’ (a mixture and letters and numbers) via your email. This you must use in the first instance to enter the Members site. You may then wish to change your password to one you personally select. This you are able to do very easily in the Your Profile section. You are asked to edit your personal data whenever necessary, (ie changes of address, telephone numbers or email addresses) as such changes are automatically transmitted by email to the Secretary so as to ensure Society records are kept up to date.
The Members List gives you an alphabetical list of the Membership with addresses, telephone numbers, handicaps and golf clubs in addition to an interactive button to click to gain direct Email access via the ‘envelope icon’ to a selected individual. There is also an ability to do a search by:- Surname, County, Postcode, Golf Clubs and Handicap (either exact or ‘more than’ or ‘less than’ a stated figure).
The Fixtures & Results Section is the most important innovation. In addition to what you would expect with:-
A click of the ‘envelope icon’ you can gain direct Email access to a particular Match Manager.
A click of the ‘globe icon’ you gain direct access to the Club website where an event is to take place.
A click of an ‘A icon’ will give you an Entry Form to download for a major Meeting.
A click of an ‘Adobe icon’ will allow you to read any Match reports that have been submitted.
N.B. If a Fixture and Date appear in red it intimates the provisional date fixed for the following year.
On the Home Page there will be various items of news published from time to time. If any Member wishes to make anything known to the Membership they should send the Secretary ‘copy’ and it will be posted on the site immediately.
